CompanyCurrent Prospect Change Research — Privacy Policy

Version 0.1.0 · Effective October 5, 2026 · This policy supplements the privacy policy at companycurrent.com and applies to the CompanyCurrent plugin in ChatGPT.

What this plugin does

The plugin researches businesses. When you ask ChatGPT to research a company, ChatGPT sends the company name and, if you provide them, the company's website and a city or region to our server. We read publicly available web pages and query a public news index, then return a short brief with sources.

Information we receive

The plugin is designed for information about businesses, not individuals. Please do not submit personal information about private individuals.

How we use it

We use the request only to perform the research and return the result to ChatGPT. We do not sell the information, use it for advertising, or build profiles of users.

What we store

We do not store your conversations, the company names you research, or the research results. We keep only aggregate operational metrics (such as whether a request succeeded, how long it took, and how many findings were returned) that do not include the company name or any user identity. Short-lived in-memory counters are used for rate limiting and are discarded automatically. Our hosting provider may keep standard infrastructure logs under its own policies.

Third parties

Accuracy

Results are drawn from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Each finding states its source and evidence status. Results are not advice, and they are not predictions of any business decision.
